Plan ahead
Try to plan ahead if at all possible. While motorhoming is a great way to just get out there and do what you please, pre-planning accommodation and leisure activities can help avoid dissapointment when you arrive at your intended destination.
Let someone know where you are going and when you will be back.
Stock up on Provisions
Save money by stocking up on provisions before you leave. Always try to plan
Appliances such as TV's, air con/heating and microwaves in the main living area require you to be hooked up to mains power.
Pack a good torch with spare batteries.
Fill up water and empty you waste tank when you can and especially when you embark on long sections of your journey.
Always turn gas bottles off before you start driving.
Motorhome batteries last around 12-14 hours without charge.
Purchase Travel Insurance
This will cover your contents if they are damaged, lost or stolen
